I am always looking for creative ideas on parenting and education.  Our family has a lot of fun together and my husband, David (the IT mastermind who put this site together), is very creative. 

Before we had kids, my husband and I spent many hours talking about what type of home environment we wanted to provide for our kids. One common theme then, that still remains a big priority today – making fun memories. We wanted to make sure they enjoyed their childhood. We know everything can't always be fun (such as homework, spinach and taking out the garbage), but we would try to be creative and make it as fun as possible. While they have been busy having fun, many times they don't realize that we have intentionally thrown in some life lessons and great memories.

I don't think you will ever hear my kids say “Mom spent more time cleaning than with us.” They will look back and think ‘Mom and Dad were always there, always listened, always helped and always loved.” I have no problem being remembered that way.

I spend a lot of time coming up with (and borrowing) great party ideas, fun family activities, great books to read and a fun way to introduce educational material to my kids. I started collecting information and decided it would be nice to have it all in one spot.

That is when we decided we should put together a website and I could share it with other moms.  We are hoping to create an environment where we can share these ideas and learn from others.
